  1. It’s been a good run, around 20 years since my last puncture, hoping it can be repaired otherwise realise I need to replace all four and wondered whether PS4S are the go-to tyre? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The black stuff is the difference between clean glossy black and salty dirty coated black from a couple of wet weeks, the wheel is only scuffed thankfully. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Battered a wheel pulling into Stratford Westfield car park this morning… first damaged wheel in years. [emoji2357][emoji2357][emoji2357][emoji2357] Luckily I have 3yrs worth of wheel and tyre insurance cover so just waiting on an appointment to fix it, bloody annoying though as it will now mean looking at it all over the Xmas period, and a whole lot of grief from my missus who also has black wheels on her mini that she has avoided kerbing so far… Not a good day! 4. [emoji119] that’s 20 mins away so would be perfect for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I am in Essex and would be up for this too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. They are all pretty invisible to be honest unless you press your nose up to the window, which is why I like them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. And here is the rear blind fitted with a THINKWARE U3000 dashcam dead top centre, little wrinkle at bottom but otherwise fits perfectly and gives some good privacy and sun protection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Little upgrade today, reckon it adds 1.5 bhp, strictly speaking it’s a MK8 R and not an MK8.5RBE but thought it was close enough. Apologies in advance to the number plate police [emoji28] Think I will still keep up with my standard Car Cologne air fresheners too though as it will probably fade pretty quickly. https://machinedriven.co.uk/?syclid=6cebcc72-e751-4ace-8785-64c8f5e57b9a Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Got a direct seagull hit myself last night, used the old soaked kitchen roll trick and rinsed off with a quick buff afterwards. Luckily they were just passing and not nesting in and around our property. We get them trying to nest on our roof every year and just disrupt the nest building before they lay an egg. One year we were away and came back to mummy seagull and three chicks, obviously we had to leave them be for the season but it was a long noisy summer when mummy and daddy swooped us when in the garden all the time. The clean up afterwards was horrific, the mess that a family of five left behind was huge. Daddy seagull was nicknamed Frank, he looks like a Frank… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Love mine too, walking back to a car where the R logos are both perfectly satisfies my OCD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. He said he had numerous users having problems with start/stop situations at traffic lights plus the button issues, I know you can switch/code SS out, but just thought the MetaTrak was all round better solution and the same standard as a ghost for insurance purposes. He could fit both and he made no mark up as I handled the subscription directly, I just paid an install fee. He travels all over the world fitting to hyper cars so thought I could trust him with my little old golf [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I really like the black aero at the front on the 8.5BE but it damn fiddly to keep clean with big hands. Also I am really missing the overhead shades storage from the 7.5 and the pull down knee cubby too, I completely agree about not having the cup holder cover too and the gloss black surround of the lower centre console meaning they get dusty quickly, I keep a microfibres in the door while sat in the drive through queue at Costa. 15. I have put a MetaTrak S5 Deadlock in and THINKWARE U3000 dashcams for added parking monitoring, was steered away from a Ghost by my auto electrician. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. [emoji1787] one of the reasons I limit the use of S and S+ until I am driving solo is the low gentle “whine” from the passenger seat, especially when cornering… Having said that, getting off a commuter train in the evening and going through a series of 0-30s through 3 sets of lights on the 4 mile drive home keeps me sane and justifies the daily grind Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Just spotted a very minor, possible gremlin while sitting in the car waiting for Mrs Luton to finish a trolley dash. The passenger side window doesn’t drop all the way into the door, whereas the driver side window does drop all the way down. Admittedly I rarely have the windows down but all the same it seems a little odd, does it happen to anyone else? Maybe it needs a minor adjustment? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I used the same tool for installing mine, need to pull hard to get the old ones out, I also left off the smoke film as it was affecting the spinning, but will check with my detailer about getting some proper PPF film applied eventually. It gives me great joy to walk up to my car and the logos are always facing the right way, someone even pointed them out last weekend as we were rolling out of the car park doing 5mph at the Turner in Margate [emoji1787] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I also added Spotify and AirConsole to give my grandkids a bit of fun, it’s pretty horrific though and they prefer Apple Arcade, sadly for my wallet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I have, I quite like it. I paid the 12.90£ [emoji857] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. The warm air option is ideal for winter maintenance washes… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
