So I noticed some higher temps than usual on the display when on my way home from work, driving pretty normally. Popped the bonnet, and noticed my coolant level has dropped (still above the minimum line). I’m unable to observe any leaks as it’s always raining this time of year. A little concerning considering the Age and mileage of the car. Any ideas?? My car was in at VW on the 20th of December for a Haldex service & Brake fluid change. Nothing was reported at the time. I sure hope it’s not a thermostat/water pump failure…I’ve only owned the car 3 months…:/

Hi all. Picked up my 7R a few weeks ago, which has suffered some cosmetic damage at the hands of the previous owner (they thought it was part of the styling) Can anyone recommend a trusted bodyshop in the east mids/ Leicestershire area? Any suggestions appreciated. Image of damage below 😟

So over the weekend i discovered a cracked inner alloy which is no bigger than an inch on my Golf R MK6. Trying to find just 1 alloy is pretty much impossible and no one seems to be selling them, can't think why.. Anyway i want to know what everyone thinks, repair or replace a cracked alloy? Go easy, this is my first post

Someone hit the back of my car (not the Golf), just a scrape but there is a slight crack on the underside and the general consensus is that the insurance company will want to replace the whole panel. These panels retail at about £2000 new. Any idea how I can ensure that I retain it assuming I have a right to it? -
A while ago there was a conversation about smart repairers. Can anyone recommend one in the South? Hampshire, Surrery, Southwest London.
