Sent them a chase today asking if they had any idea what the next move was and if they still considered it to be Cobb's problem. Nothing back yet... I'll post if I get something... Raggers
Im having the same issue it seems. I was able to launch the car no problem before i upgraded to TCU + ECU stage 1. The car just wont hold the revs up when trying to launch and sorta just goes limp. Ive taken off both the tunes and am going to test if launching still works completely stock tomorrow. Is it worth contacting mountune for a solution or just wait it out ?

I'd let them know so they can check your ECU details - sounds like it's just early cars so far it's happening to. Is yours a 2015 by any chance? At the very least you'd hope knowing more customers are waiting would give them more incentive to get it sorted. Still no response to my chaser. Correct, yeah mine is a 2015 plate. *Update* I called mountune about the problem and they told me i had to send an email to info@mountune.com with all the details of the car + handset and the issues that i was facing. I got a reply back the same day which said : Quote We are aware of an issue regarding the firmware on these handsets for your vehicle software which is causing these problems. This is a Cobb firmware issue and not related to our software part. Cobb have pushed out a new beta version of the firmware which resolves the issue with monitors. This may fix the launch control issue on the stage one calibration and we’d appreciate if you can let us know if it’s better when you next try it so we can keep working to help COBB roll out a final firmware update. The way this needs to be done is to plug your handset into your PC in the same way you did to copy the files over, launch AccessPort Manager, tick ‘allow beta firmware updates’ under the options menu then update your handset. Once this is done, we recommend installing the stage one calibration (attached) onto your car which should then apply the current fix. We’ll keep you up to speed with any further information we get from COBB who are continuing to work towards a final fix and if you can let us know if anything has changed that will help us keep the ball rolling! Im going to update the handset firmware tonight and then install the stage one back onto the car. Wish me luck. gregozedobe

Raggers
Updated handset firmware and upgraded the ECU to the new stage 1 version 1.08 that they provided. Had no change or improvement to the launch control issue. Do mountune offer refunds 😒

TheAlbionist
Just sent them a slightly more firmly worded chaser. That's the third e-mail I've sent since trying the new firmware update - everything's been ignored so far. Don't really want to go down the route of trashing their name, but I'm more than happy to if this is how they intend to treat customers who've spent £1k with them only to spoil their car. I'm also still waiting on a response to my message about letting them know that their "fix" didn't work. They replied same day the first time i got in contact about it but now I've not heard anything for almost a week. Maybe i shouldn't of mentioned about a refund 🤣 Im going to phone them about it and chase it up. TheAlbionist and MikeBuzz
MikeBuzz
they have woken up 🤔 We are currently waiting for an update from Cobb to see when the next update / fix will be available, unfortunately as previously mentioned as this is a firmware issue and not a problem with our own file it's not something we can fix and it appears to not be a simple fix at Cobbs end as they have the run numerous tests on vehicles before rolling the updates out. We can only further apologise for the inconvenience caused, we'll keep you up dated with any further progress on this and we appreciate your patience and understanding on this. Best regards, The mountune® online team.

Raggers
Good news, Just received this email from Mountune this morning : Quote We've been in conversation with the engineers at Cobb and have been awaiting further updates to fully resolve these issues so we do apologise for this. The good news is Cobb have now advised us that the updates have been done and the issues should now be resolved, please find attached file. Can you please load this to your handset as you did with the previous files we've sent you and then load this one to your car, you can dispose of the other Stage 1 ECU files we've previously sent. Also if you can click update firmware on Accessport manager so the handset is then on the latest firmware everything should all be sorted. We'd like to thank your for your patience with this and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Best regards, The mountune® online team. Going to try this when i get home, fingers crossed it actually works. MikeBuzz
MikeBuzz
I have flashed the latest 2.01 file and seems like it’s a lot better, will need some more driving time, but on a quick drive all seems good
