I have a good trimmer that has done loads of stuff for me before so may get my steering wheel trimmed too.

From my research I think the 6speed requires the anti - drone res and the 7 speed gets away with the cheaper one . I have a 7 speed with the cheap , straight through pipe and I don’t think it drones  at all . Maybe when you really labour the engine at low rpm and high gear . But really nothing worth worrying about.

Mrs Badger didn’t approve of my old decatted Gti drone so I may have played it safe! Mine was only £100 I think, and is a really nice bit of pipe 😊

Thanks Badger. Will definitely look for an anti drone one. You car looks much better with spacers. Grey is nice too!

Thanks, it was between grey and lapiz when I was shopping, and in the flesh the grey just won me over. And super stealthy 🥷

Stance is almost flush now and looks as it it should for me.

Yours looks very well indeed, and agree with losing the remaining silver bits as suggested 👍🏼 Do love a tornado red

Nice looking R 👍🏼

If you do a res delete, I’d recommend the No drone/low drone ones with the banana pipe bit to reduce the resonance. I did mine and it now sounds the way I expected it to from the factory in Sport, and very similar to pre-delete Sport noise in Normal. No pops and bangs crap, but a nice ‘ra ba ba ba’ burble on sporty downshifts, and a nice aggressive crack on hard upshifts.

I also did the turbo muffler delete, elbow and have the obnoxious looking Ram Air full kit. Induction sound under load is fab, but not chav, and a little flutter on boost drop due to the muffler delete.

Only other bits I did was flush the standard wheels with front and rear spacers, and the obligatory bigger ally flappy paddles 😬

What size spacers did you go for that looks good for stock ride height?

These are 20mm rear and 10mm front. If I was super picky I’d have added a couple of mil to both, but it sits fine. Only problem for the 10mm fronts is that they’re bolt through not bolt on, like the rears. I just dislike bolt through spacers, but in fairness they’ve been spot on for 12k now 👍🏼
