smug_1273 Posted June 19, 2024 Report Share Posted June 19, 2024 I have had a puncture repair (mushroom type) done by a tyre shop on my 2023 Tiguan R 1000 mile old drivers side rear tyre. NRW Posted June 19, 2024 Report Share Posted June 19, 2024 You must have faith in a tyre repair. If you don’t then buy a new tyre. Most reputable tyre outlets would refuse to repair a tyre where the repair was dubious, borderline / suspect. They’d earn more selling you a new tyre too. But you have to be sure. Your peace of mind is the thing here. Price is the couple of hundred quid for a new tyre or indeed pair of tyres. Stay happy & safe .
