I have, using it now in fact! I'm generally not fond of mobile sites but it's not the worst i've used tbh.

Nothing major tbh, the overall design appearance is a bit plain imo but thats just subjective, the front page is a bit too cluttered with the stuff down the one side, top posters and facebook etc, wondering if thats a preference that can be changed though? Having to double click to select pages, among other little things but it seems it's my problem for using an iphone mostly, smilies are an annoyance but now i know why the editor doesn't show thats fine. Did the site name need to be changed because of using a different host? It's just not as 'nice' imo, i know i'm the minority so i'll stop whinging, soz!

Not ungrateful, just of the opinion that it wasn't really broke so didn't really need fixing as a user just tweaking, obviously it was a different story as an administrator hence the need for change.

The only issue i had with the old platform was it being off line now and then which is a hosting issue, no problems at all with it's general functionality, i know it's early days and i will give it a chance but if having a 'like' button comes at the cost of an enjoyable user experience then it's a backward step. Like i've said you can't please everyone and i appreciate the effort from the administrators, however if no one voices an opinion or highlights the issues then it won't improve. SMILEY FACE..

Is it just me that thinks it shouldn't be a faf using a forum? Lots of functionality isn't always a good thing imo, just do the basics really well like the old site and freshen things up a bit. Most people browse using touch devices these days so surely that should be a priorty to get right? And while i'm having a grumble VWROC makes it sound like a Scirocco forum!! And where have all the options gone for replying?? No smilies or anything?? Arghhh!!!

Not really feeling it tbh but you can't please everyone! Colour scheme is a little bland and uninspiring, you can't see if people are online like before and having to open the tray for the smilies seems like a backwards step imo, the only improvement is the 'like' button.

I don't think that will fit the mk7 Golf mate, i think it's a full head unit whereas the mk7 system has the hard/dvd drive in the glove box and the screen is literally just a screen, that would fit a mk6 or any other VW that has an RCD or RNS style unit fitted.

If the mirrors only fold out when the ignition is turned on it renders the puddle lights useless, at least with them unfolding when the car is unlocked they light the side of the car.

I don't see how putting carbon fibre elements on the outside is trying to make it something it's not, i mean it's not like it has 4 exhaust pipes and 296hp is it??? the 1.2 replica on the other hand... It's about making it a little less like every other R on the road without going over the top imo and the interior door trim on the R is faux carbon fibre so why not?

DCC is what controls the suspension, if it's not fitted then all the modes do including Race is adjust throttle response, steering assistance and gear changes if you have DSG, also affect the exhaust note. Mods is a big question, most will want the car back as it left the factory so as long as it's put back to standard then fine, it's if you have an accident which the insurance won't pay out on it'll get a bit tricky imo, read the terms of the lease is my advice.

In theory it should be a warranty issue so you could take them to your local dealer and get them to put them on? Should only take 5 mins for them? Pretty sure you need to open the key as if changing the battery which gives access to the screw holding it on, but you'll need a Torx screw driver to fit.
