Hi and welcome. My best advice is to drive the car as is for a while and then see. I learned that tuning the DSG with any tune is a must. I’ve always been more of a suspension junkie so I always try and sort that first, but again wait and see; not sure if you have DCC? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds good. One thing I just checked was that I bought a saris superbones - this is the upgraded version with internal straps that are way better than my original. I guess my ‘man maths’ justified it by selling my old one on eBay with the view I could then sell the superbones if/when I changed cars again; and all is a lot less than the towhook. Not as good I accept but the superbones feels like the next best thing to me. Obs other people will have other views on different racks etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know it’s not what you asked but I went through this and just couldn’t find anyone willing to fit a Towbar in my 7.5. In the end I bought a saris bones 3 bike rack - really massive upgrade on the old one so v impressed. Sorry if you’re not doing it for a bike rack - ignore me if so...!! Shame re problem- I’ve had 2 sets of S2Ts on different Golf Rs and they’ve been great. I even fitted the 7.5 one thanks to this thread. Just about to switch cars (non golf now) so have bought some nice looking billet Leyo Motorsport ones that fit on with a bevel/screw combination so will be interesting so see the difference Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
