As far as I'm aware... most regions have them as standard. I'm from UK and they definitely are here, and I think they are in the US. I've noticed your profile is from South Africa... I know there is a few differences in the car over there (such as engine power) so it may well be that they are not standard in your neck of the woods. Dealer should be able to confirm, or have a play around on your local VW site configurator?

As Booth has already said, she recommended PoorBoys to me and it is fantastic. Used it at the weekend, it's like new out of the factory! My original worry was that I didn't want a shiny wheel too, matte all the way! I use PoorBoys on everything inside and it smells epic

Not remotely R related (for once)! I'm thinking of getting the Mrs a Polo GTI - we both really like them and the offers at present are phenomenal! She drives my old mini which is nearly 3 yr into a PCP. Should just about be broken even, if a little bit of negative equity in it (doh)! Mini is through Stratstone, which sadly don't have VW under their group. My question is can we part ex the mini against a new lease? Seen a few standalone sites which seem to offer this but would much rather go through dealers if poss! Thanks in advance!

I was out the other evening with a few mates, one of which has a 65 plate RS4, standard. He was in front and we both tanked it... I in no way embarrassed him but the R did a really good job of keeping up, it loves the rolling speed! Off the line 1st to 3rd I got smashed but then slowly pulled back from 4th onwards - and I'm manual! Chuffed to bits with this car [emoji4]

At the risk of completely derailing this topic... I wish I could use wireless Bluetooth music as it's a right PITA plugging and unplugging my phone all the time, especially on quick journeys! Unfortunately I can't stand the compressed sound Bluetooth produces, I really feel the drop on bass and the whole sound is a bit tinny [emoji20]

Sorry I meant holding the power button - auto correct! Hold the left knob until it restarts. Yeah no screen but music is t uncommon either... Whilst is it great MIB2 definitely has teething issues! I would update the software. Annoying, but I wouldn't of thought it's a serious problem!

It depends what you're referring to... In your description it sounds like the MIB unit is freezing. This often happens when it's cold (weirdly) although I have known it to happen on warm days too! Usually fixes with engine restart, or reset the unit by holding power for 10 secs. If it's just your DAB with issues, it should generally be top quality, but I lose signal when driving past tall buildings in the city centre, just the way DAB is broadcasted. There has recently been an MIB update released which people have said does help any freezing issues so might be worth visiting your dealer.

Well it goes without saying I will be doing this on the Mini before mine [emoji6] Honestly the Mini is actually worst. Black... Crap or whatever it is all over. Chrome polish just isn't cutting it! Thinking is that as tailpipes are metal as oppose to plastic chrome they should be okay! Hopefully anyway haha.

This sounds positive! What MIB2 have you got? I have MIB2 but no menu option for App-Connect. Did they say how much it would be to you?

Yeahhh... Not sure how it will fare on LSG either!
