    Many thanks. Apart from being a R enthusiast I am also an advocate of the English language aka plain speaking. I can manage a bit of computer gobbledygook but there are limits e.g. 'unhide' which I experienced at work

    I don't know if this is the correct thread, but does the R tend to use much oil as a general rule ? I HAVE done a lot of miles over the last 3 months so not surprised I have had to top it up, but I just wondered.

    And to top it all off I had just applied some Collinite when phone rang. Oh what an idiot - I answered it. 2 hours later I am still buffing off the wax after it dried on like glue Only thing will be to sort it out tomorrow in proper daylight.

    Oh no - set about another detail at once. You know what I mean I am sure : quick blast just would not feel right Ah well.

    I had wheel/tyre insurance on previous car. Never used it & did not bother this time. Just returned from a short break in Sussex : beautiful county (both East & West) but beset by pot holes & many on main roads too.

    So Saturday morning dawned dry at least if not fair & sunny. Aha ! Time to treat the R to a luxury bath aka a detailing. Went outside an hour after I had done it only to find a tractor+mud/manure had been up the lane & deposited plenty on my R

    Hi Stealthmode- if you search Revo's website you will find details of this, which acts as a security device. The car goes nowhere if the SPS is not inserted. I like the idea of a quality Stage 1 remap AND having this security.

    My local garage is getting in some Revo mapped cars for demo rides in a couple of months. I am told the map can be set to original so undetectable to protect warranty & there is also SPS for security. Unsure if I want to pay £700 but will definitely go for a demo drive

    I was considering getting this but also looking at Revo Stage 1 which can include a SerialPort Switch doing much the same job
