  12. I bought forge spacers for my R,rear ones are perfect but front ones don't fit with wheel 16mm on rear ordered 11mm for fronts on 19 inch prets. I am sending fronts back to awesome gti but don't know which to get for the front now anyone had same experience and which did you go for. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk

  14. As long as the cars mechanicaly sound and in good shape you won't go wrong with the m3 it's been my dream car since the e30 and I'll buy one, one. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  15. I found the R faster than the m3. The m3 I nearly got was a manual car and you have to work it a lot more as it's n/a but the sound is so addictive. Get in touch with Sytner BMW as they have a fair few in storage and will get one for you to test drive Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  16. I put a deposit down on a e92 m3 last September almost bought it but then I drove the R. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  17. I've used specialists on my other cars non of which are vw and found they are usually 10% upwards cheaper than dealer but as both dealer and specialist were similarly priced I wasn't too sure, thanks too everyone for their input. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  18. Very well said [emoji122].Specialists have a different sense of pride in their work and know the vehicles they work on in a different way to dealers. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  19. I am going to stick with the specialist [emoji106] Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  20. £180 sounds about right, oil alone is around the £100 mark just wanted to make sure I wasn't being ripped off as it's my first dsg. I'm doing front pads, oil service and finally fitting spacers myself was contemplating the dsg but I think I'll leave it to the professionals. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  21. I was hoping for £100 or less but them prices would be awesome [emoji3]. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  22. As per title my 40k dsg service is due I've booked in with a local vw specialist the price they said is only £4 cheaper than dealers, should I just use main dealer online their fixed price dsg service is £184,the only reason I am considering not using dealer is the way they treat me whenever I've been there. Am I just being stupid? [emoji16] Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  23. Clean enough Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
