Can you change the indicators to act like they do on Audi's or is it just the Safety car alternate flash? I have a MK7 R pre facelift.

Update for those wanting to know if its really worth the money. Benn a couple of weeks now and ive just washed for the first time. Simply effortless. Powerwash the top muck off which to be fair is only the bottom 3rd of car and then used a relatively cheap snow foam. Left for 5 minutes and the powerwashed off. Then used a light soapy microfibre mit to wash over car. Very lightly i may add! Just wiped over. Same for wheels using a seperate mit. Final powerwash followed by an (relatively) expensive microfibre drying towel. Result is as per the pics from the when it was first done. Just looks stunning without having to put hours of work in with a non streak polish, which lets face it, there is no such thing for the likes of driveway valeters! I used to always get smudging. 110% recommend anyone to get it done. Had loads of comments out and about in car parks and around town etc as it does look a little special. Even another R owner (oldish) saying he wished he had chosen black if he knew it would look that good. Had to tell him it was coated but he didnt even know what ceramic coating was. Impressed.

Everyone seems to be favouring the Eibach springs but reading up on the VW Racing ones has anyone tried these or is it much of a muchness?

All noted. Ill steer clear of it. Never heard of a rev limiter at that level before? Mainly because i watched a 'how to launch a manual' video and the guy used an R. His was able to rev right to the red line??

Not just me then! Feel slightly better now. Give it a go. Have to admit though its true how much the car bogs down on launch. How can that be cut out??

Yer i know what you mean. Just in case you wish to have a go...... Place in race mode Engage the stop break only, not hand break. Full down on the accelerater It'll rev to 4k and stop. Literally then just dump the clutch. To add to the function, if you have the lap timer on screen and reset to 0 it will start as soon as you drop the clutch. Boom.

So..... I have a confession. Ive now done 11k in the R and embarrassingly ive only just discovered it actually has launch control! Its the manual by the way and i just made the assumption it was only dsg models that it worked and had it! Dont abuse me too much!

So finally had it protected and it's looking sweet!

Map 1 is definitely an agressive map after about 3k. It feels very noticeable. Very much so. Im starting to have clutch slip though. Im going to change to map 3 and see how that goes.

So although the computer graphics show 2 it it actually running higher?

Also does anyone know if its supposed to alter the bar pressure of the turbo? And if so do the graphics on your screen change accordingly? I booted it in 2nd and it continues to read 2.03?. Any ideas?

So this morning ive fitted the DTUK box. Pretty easy as far as mods go to fit. Once you jack up the motor and take the under tray off its just a cash of pluggin everything in. My only question is what setting does everyone use? Mine is manual if that makes a difference. Also how do i know what each setting is supposed to do? The manual just says test for yourself essentially.
