Hi, My Golf is our second car, so it doesn't get driven a lot. Despite owning it for about 7 months, I think I've just realised that I've got bendy headlights. When I turn sharp corners the separate cornering light comes on as expected, but driving through light mist the other day on full beam I realised that the headlights are turning with the steering wheel (had this on a previous car, so recognise it). I wasn't expecting that! It's a 2015 car, the only headlight related option I have is High Beam Assist. Are these dynamic cornering lights standard on the R? If not, were they a separate option, or bundled with the High Beam Assist? Thanks.

Hi, Just want to add a little bit of feedback. I borrowed the dongle from GE90, it was with me super quickly, included great instructions and my deposit was returned within milliseconds of him receiving it back. Programming my helix has definitely made a difference, it sounded a bit weird when I first installed it, kind of "muddy", post programming it's excellent - decent bass and improved mid and treble. Mine was definitely not set up for a golf when I received it.

Despite starting this thread, I still haven't got one. Have called Lookers VW a number of times, each time someone says they'll call back. Think I've given up caring about it now.

It came up on the R owners group on Facebook. I paid £195 delivered. It's all installed and programmed now. Installation was relatively straightforward, reckon I spent less than an 90 mins on it and the programming was a 2 minute job. I'm very happy with it, a massive improvement over stock on bass and a very noticeable lift to mid and treble.

Hi, I've just got hold of the "in the box" helix upgrade (the one with the two subs in the box, rather than in the spare wheel well). Assuming ParcelForce don't lose it, should be here on Monday. @GE90 Are you still OK to loan out the module?

Any idea how much space there is behind the hub? McGard do a 44mm bolt which is 4mm longer than the bolts in the front of my car.

Afternoon, Just fitted an ECS Flush Kit to my 7R (10mm & 17mm). What are people doing about locking wheel nuts. Do I need to buy two sets, one at 40mm and one at 45mm? Thanks, Rich

Afternoon, Just got an email from VW saying that there's a new data plug available which goes in the diagnostic port and can upload data to your phone. It says to call my dealer (Lookers Blackburn) and I'll get one fitted for free. Just called Lookers, this is the first they've heard of it. Well done VW you're a class act. At least you can buy the pump. We had a haldex issue with my wife's 2010 Tiguan, and they said they couldn't get the pump separately, so it got a complete new haldex unit. Over £3000 (VW covered it even though car was out of warranty).

Hi, Went past a clean looking white 3 door on the M62 yesterday at about 4:45. I pulled up next to you to wave, but you didn't notice!

Prets and leather were must haves for me. I've got reversing cam, but could live without it (even though it's really cool how it pops out of the rear badge!). Didn't get nav, now wish I had. Have got high beam assist but haven't used it yet as it's never dark!

Hi. We had a Scirocco TSi, murdered front tyres, you must destroy them with 300hp. FRS looks great too, I had that engine in a V40 T5, never saw better than 25mpg, wasn't even that quick. Terrible car!

Morning. When I scroll through the different screens in the driving data menu I see Oil Temperate. I've seen on the VCDS thread that it looks like Oil Temperate is one of the options you can turn on. Does that mean my car has been fiddled with, or do Rs show Oil Temp from the factory?
