A couple of weeks ago i had the Adaptive Front Lighting (AFS) error . told it was probobly the static bulb needing replaced anyway a couple of days ago the left side dipped beam error check came on .I changed both static light bulbs and it has cleared the error for the adaptive lighting although i have only seen them come on once when out and cannot get them to come on when put in reverse as i was told either. Also both my high and low beam are not working on the left side at the moment .they did come on randomly a cople of times but now no longer come on .Was told this could be a module fault balliste .Is the high and low beam also connected in some way to the static cornering lights. Hoping its just a bulb or ballist fault and not something more expensive. Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar problems and what fixed it. Thanks in advance.

so hard to keep red clean in this weather . Anyway washed and photos of the read diffuser parts fitted at the weekend . turned out good i think.Next month i am going to get some wind deflectors as the water dripping in is a right pain. Maybey some wheel spacers 12mm rear 8mm front next.

Easy enough to fit . Didn't take the rear valance of ,there are 2 clips underneath in the centre just take them off and you can pull it down as it's quite bendy and you can get a small screwdriver in the back to screw them in.Takes more prepping the holes to make sure the are straight and same distance appart. And they are cut to fit nicely

Thought i had some issue with the car tonight as the exhaust had an odd drone coming from it .Still had lots of power and no warning lights but just didn't seem normal. To be fair i might have gave it a little bashing on the slidy road from work ,Just a bit of fun but then i got home and sat there rving the car and it seems to have a more pronounced over run note on the exhaust that i haven't really noticed before. Took it to my mechanic to have a drive and he said there is absolutely nothing wrong with it .I t just sounds diffrent ecause of the cold weather and it prob even goes better now due to the cold air. Anyway i hope this is all it is i cant fork out a large bill this side of xmas. Anyone else experience this in the cold weather. Happy driving.

Has anyone on here fitted these ? seem a bit more discrete than the maxton ones. Fitting next week and painting the exhaust tips gloss black . the journey continues lol.

i like the grey but couldnt find a grey 3 door in my price range at the time .Seen the red golf up for sale but was a bit apprehensive at first went to see it and in person its aluvly car just needed some personlisation touches to make it better.Springs will prob be next year i might get the res delete done in the coming months but money is a bit tight at the moment.

a nice clean up today . body kit really sets it off.Next to paint those nasty quad pipes as they arnt lookin too great , matt or gloss black. Thats it till at least beginning of next year, Maybey do the re delete and springs.
-
well after hitting a badger last month i finally got my car back and re-fitted the front spoiler new grooved and drilled disks with ebc red stuff pads , and finally got the side sills put on to finish the body kit.The next dry day i will re de chrome the front bumper and maybey paint he rusty chrome exaust pipes shiny black.

To shark fin or not , think it fits in quite nicley, and now front completly e chromed appart from the badge which is staying chrome. next few months i think i will get the side skirts fitted from trc composits.

Thats a great angle and i think i have changed my mind about the grill de chrome i done mines today and really like it de chrome the front bottom bumper next week.Any way i wasnt going to bother with the side skirts but have to say they look cool. are they easy to fit ( unsure myself though if the maxton ones or the trc ones ). Thinking of getting the front side windows a slight tint and debaiting getting wind deflectors or not. A step at a time and make the r look like it should have . Not the laid back car it came out the factory looking like lol.
-
looking good although i prefer the prets on the car i think .i have got the de chrome strip for the grill but really undecided wether to do it or not i think maybey its needs the chrome take the badge to the lights. Although the bottom chrome definitly needs to go.how low is the lip spoiler from the road with the vwr springs as i am undecided wether to drop it with ebaich springs 10mm to 15mm drop or 25mm i think it was with wvr as the splitter already looks low.By the way twins i

i have had blue for te same reasons as its the colour the r should be but now i have red and the blacks just pop out and it looks so much meaner than the blue. heres my pics . but in the end it is up to everybodies tastes but what i would say is see it in person cause some times pics don,t do them justice.
