Dealer update for a CS. Was due October then Nov, then week 10 but now week 19. Still confirmed but all dates being provided are for build not delivery. I’m being told to consider late June. That will be 12 mths since order. Think I’ll cancel and get an M135i. I’m not that bothered if it’s a slightly less car. The interior is lovely and for road use I suspect there’s no real difference. Someone on a Facebook group was told to expect theirs in August 2022, they ordered a 1.5 style or something back in March '21. Dont laugh at the 72 plate just yet.

Theres loads of stock, following Volkswizard on twitter, looking around at used Rs and TCRs theres plenty available. I did consider taking a WBAC offer this week buying a £500 runaround and seeing what happens closer to delivery but not actually sure what that means for the trade in on the MK8 deal we arranged.

Sounds like its getting worse, my order (GTI CS) has gone back to Wk10 from wk46, thats build not delivery. Maybe ill get it May?

That Alchemy is lovely, i had a 27.5 Full Sus but rarely used it so switched to a HT 29er, I did find the 29er a huge change though, rolls amazing vs 27.5. Harder on switchbacks though.

Edit - just seen your predicament, their Voodoo range is ok, The Boardman Gravel are ok too.

All good, or I could just get an 8x18 CM wheel with a better offset for £450, use them, abuse them, replace. many have found centre caps and theres a few links kicking around of modification to standard ones or worse case vinyl sticker caps.

To be honest, you could have two pairs at only £450 a pop, weekend wheels and weekday wheels. Sunday bests

I found some on this car posted on a garage on Facebook, apologies if its anyone here but I think it looks mega. Also these are the official ones so 7.5" ET51 and not the 8" ET45. Im sold

Really interested to see who would try the CM Wheels Estorills in 18" they sell. I dont want 19s at all, at the moment ive made my mind up on Gunmetal 18" Rep Prets on a white car. Could be swayed by gunmetal 18" Estorills though.
