Hey Folks ๐ Looking to potentially go stage 1 but not looking to change any parts e.g (induction kit or coils etc) I'm currently thinking to go with R-tech performance & also have the ECU & TCU done, R-tech seem very reasonable in terms of price & very knowledgeable in the field. Most other remap companies seem to want to change parts & are nearly double the price Has anyone on here had a stage 1 remap done from R-tech & if so how do you find it? Do you have a GPF Golf R or non GPF? I'm not so interested in chasing bhp figures but more interested in how the ECU & TCU behave in terms of reliability when mapped? is the map progressive/linear, I would like to at least see minimum 355 bhp to at least 380 max if possible if chasing figures are a thing ๐ I won't be bothering with a stage 2 in the future so only looking for a very reliable stage 1 map. Ps: I don't want to travel to far, as I'll be going/coming from the greater London area. My choices are: 1 R-tech 2 Phantom Tuning 3 MRC (costly) 4 Mountune (very expensive) 5 Unicorn (to far to travel) but will think about it. 6 Vudu (to far to travel) Or can anyone recommend a strong, trustworthily company that they can 100% vouch for. TIA. ๐

Hi guys, Been looking around different tuners and MRC Tuning has caught my eyes as Iโve heard a lot of good reviews. Iโve got 67 plate Golf R MK7.5 and looking to go stage 1. Has anyone recently got their car tuned there and what was the price if you donโt mind me asking? How does it drive now compared to stock? Appreciate those who reply in advance. Take care VW gang! I had an order come across my desk today for a order of Land Rover parts off to MRC Tuning in Banbury. Just thought I'd share, the world seems very small.
