August 2018 7.5 VW Golf R DSG estate in Lapiz blue. I’m the 2nd owner, it was originally dealer owned and I bought it in Dec 2018 with 3500 miles on it. It’s now on 14500, and will increase slightly as used daily. It’s 1st service was done at 7051 miles on the 10th of May 2019 and its 2nd service with a haldex service at 14100 at the end of March just before lockdown. It’s standard spec, with Sat Nav/Virtual Cockpit, Bluetooth, DAB, car play/android auto, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, dual climate, folding and heated morrors etc It’s MRC Stage 2 ECU And TCU Tuned, running 396bhp and 532 nm carried out by DH Automotive (MRC Scotland) with dyno print out. Supporting mods on the car all bought from new are: Milteck ssxvw349 Sports Cat Downpipe going to standard back box with a vagsport resonator delete. Car was ceramic coated in Dec 2018 and as had top-up washes every 3 months since 2 keys and has no outstanding finance on it. Car is in very good condition, being picky it does have a few stone chips, also a stone was kicked up by a truck and chiped the windscreen, has been repaired by Autoglass but is still slightly viable.

  2. The bottom 2 figures are when the car was flashed back to stock, prior to the mrc map going on.
  3. Cars back from MRC and I'm very happy with the result, gone from feeling quite flat to a bit of an animal now. Hitting a much stronger 396 bhp now. 😃 https://www.facebook.com/MRCTuningScotland/?epa=SEARCH_BOX .
  4. To far to travel I think mate. Cars back to stock and I have a dp on. I can see the Kelpies from my house and DH Automotive/MRC are just along the road from them so would be nuts to go anywhere else. Dave’s done me a turn fitting me in so quickly. He was even prepared to open up on sat and sort it then for me. Can’t knock that. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. DH Automotive/MRC is 3 miles down the road so heading there. Always regretted not going to him in the 1st place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Been flashed back to stock and got a refund. Trust is gone. Not the 1st prob I’ve had with RacingLine. They had a manufacturing prob with the rear brace when it 1st came out. They were made too big and I got 1. My RacingLine approved installer didn’t get the memo so tried to force it into the back of my car resulting in the seat anchors getting badly scored. Was put right and I got a free coolant hose off them but enough is enough. New tuner tomorrow [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Last Tuesday my wagon was in getting it’s stage 2 upgrades (dp and intercooler) and a stage 2 map from RacingLine. Car was at RL stage 1 with tcu. Picked the car up and all seemed ok, enjoyed the drive home, quiet roads and a bit louder thanks to the milltek sports cat that had been put on. Had a nagging doubt it felt slower though but didn’t think that would be possible. Got the car onto a dyno on Friday and a very disappointing 355bhp was the best run. I know dyno’s vary but even so this was poor! RL advertise their stage 2 at 385bhp. Turns out they had put a reduced power map on my car, expecting it to make the advertised power, they had no way of knowing though. They didn’t pass that knowledge onto me at the time so I was left to find out for myself. Expected better than that from a brand like RacingLine. Wouldn’t recommend anyone put a map on their car without it being put on a dyno at the same time to ensure it’s doing what it says on the tin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. These would look good! https://www.facebook.com/1396385493908584/photos/a.1491845947695871/2145197032360756?type=3&sfns=mo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. DH AUTOMOTIVE in Falkirk are MRC tuners. Dave is very highly thought off. Did my res delete and took my wagon there for a service recently, good blokes, garage is right next to the kelpies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I've found front and rear leather seats from a 7.5 R 5 door hatch. Is the rear bench the same in the hatch and estate, I'm in a 7.5 wagon. Cheers!
  11. not braved one yet, dont think i'll be a prob though, only dropped 20mm.
  12. 20mm front and rear according to the blurb mate: https://progressiveparts.com/racingline-performance-sport-spring-set-vw-golf-mk7-estate-vwr-vwr31g70rw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. No harm in giving the dealer a buzz but like Dave said, they’ll prob charge a hefty sum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. It’s standard spec Damo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. There isn’t 1 mate, its standard. Only thing I’ve done is put a maxton lip spoiler on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
