After reading the Race Glaze post I think im going to bite the bullet and invest in a DI filter. Question - I have an outside hot tap that runs off the water softener, will this give any problems to the resin ? Dont fancy cold car washing in the winter ❄️⛄

Sometimes the simple ideas are best 👍 Booth 11, How do you heat the DI water for bucket wash? or do you just cold wash ? Might give it a try through the pressure washer next but agree it would be best if all water through the washing process was spotless

Experimenting (on my nippers car) with the spotless water. Quick wash and then sprayed the whole car twice and left to air dry in the sun. Result ! So Im not going to be able to cheat and not dry the car, it works but I will still be towel drying because if you miss one spot you get left with water marks ! I was not able to get enough flow from the sprayer to get the water to sheet off especially as my drive is flat. Wheels have air dryed well no water marks Will I be using it on my golf, yes but I want to find a small pump to increase the water flow

First use this week end on the house windows in full sun, not a mark left after evaporation. Ordered a 20 litre garden sprayer to final rinse the car off. 👍

Prior to going to my local VW dealer has anyone had their electric parking brake only work when they apply it manually ? It was working fine until the drive home today when stopped in traffic the green parking light did not come on as normal. 7000 miles cover in a manual Cheers

This has happened to me twice ! Both times I have put my thermos mug in the cup holder and the handle rests just on the brake ! Fault lights came on and front assist deactivated. Doh
