And I suspect the vast majority, at the end of the lease term, will find their way onto the forecourts of franchised dealers who will then control the second hand prices. I therefore doubt there will many bargains to be had in two years on the second hand market.

Just had a little play with my mate in his B7 RS4 off a roundabout and there was nothing in it - he edged away very slightly. I was actually quite surprised although I know beyond 100 or so the RS4 would pull away. Probably helped being in his slipstream too.

Well it cleared itself after an hour

I've just had a fault light come on for the electronic parking brake and it also says front assist is now deactivated. I recall others having a similar thing happen but couldn't find anything from a quick search. It's in at the dealers next saturday getting a rear light cluster replaced so will get them to take a look but any thoughts about what the problem could be would be appreciated please.

Doesn't the R have a similar power to weight ratio to S5 so would have expected this without remap?

I have two kids and the boot is fine most of the time, in fact even managed to fit a whole nights camping gear in. When they're younger though it just wouldn't work so I had 3 * Octy vRS back then and the boot was immense. I just can't get away with estate cars spawned from traditional hatchbacks, they just don't look right. Have recently ordered an Octy Scout as a second car so between that and the R will have most the bases covered

This for me is what fast Golfs should be about. Understated. 300bhp is plenty IMO.
