    No it's not needed to tell insurance, it doesn't alter the cars performance at all. The pipe you buy has larger diameter sleeve at one end and comes with a good clamp so you don't have to weld the pipe on. I was happy to pay for the part just for the ease of reversing it for £20, and to avoid welding and more cutting when it comes off. Each to their own on that i guess.

    Haha yeah true! I got done for speeding and then phone shortly after 7 years ago. 2 separate courses with a 5 year 'don't do it again' period where you don't get offered it. Here i am again, for doing 54 in a 50, and still grateful it's about 🙃

    That's a good deal for fabricate & fit, nice find. It's even easier to reverse than to fit (no cutting etc.) - and i'm on PCP so trust me, I checked, lol.

    I bought mine off Awesome - https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-car/audi/s3-8v/resonator-delete-pipe-kit-audi-s3-8v/ and had it fitted for £30 at a random exhaust shop last week, they quoted half an hour but took 10 minutes!! i echo that it's even louder than i expected but absolutely love it, crackles on overrun are addictive (you just need to change your driving style in town 😬) get one ordered!!

    £45 each painted bud, I was expecting 1-2 weeks delivery but took 6 days, google them on eBay he does any car make. I'm happy with the paintwork, not exact match but damn close
