  1. Initial feedback is very positive. Big difference with Racingline kit vs stock and the service from MDAutobahn was excellent.
  2. Welcome, lovely looking R you have there.

    Hello

Welcome. The other thing to bear in mind with the 7.5 is th DSG is 7 speed rather than 6. Have had both and much prefer the 7 speed. Good hunting.
  4. No wheel alignment yet, in a couple of weeks.
  5. Not at all, firms up when pushing on but driving a round town, very little difference to stock. I also run H&R front and rear arb’s, 27mm front, 25mm rear but these went on post eibach. They certainly complement the eibach pro kit by improving turn in, keeping things nice and tight. Andy
  6. Hi Mitch, going Racingline 4 piston kit on the 24th via MDAutobahn. How do you find the brakes when cold? Cheers Andy
  7. Eibach Pro Kit and H&R Hubcentric Spacers, 8mm front, 12mm rear on 19" Cadiz which have same ET50 as 19" Pretoria (attained similar look with 18" Cadiz with 12mm front, 15mm rear).
  8. When I ran 18" Cadiz with Eibach Pro Kit, I used H&R Hubcentric 12mm front, 15mm rear, with plenty of clearance, no rubbing. Hope this helps. Just gone Cadiz 19" with the Eibach kit, now running 8mm front, 12mm rear.
  9. Went ERS at Lloyds, via Keith Michaels, small increase on the original LV price. As you say, I think its a question of call op interpretation.
  10. LV were fine with spacers, ECU/TCU upgrade, AirBox/Filter, Downpipe etc. until I added the Intercooler, £700 increase.........as apparently, that increase power by some margin!
  11. Hi, you may want to take a look at Racingline OEM+. I've been very happy with both the initial stage 1 map, now stage 2 on my Mk7.5. There are others out there that will attain greater numbers but the stage 2 map is very smooth and personally I'm very pleased. Once you have paid for the initial map, stages 2 and 3 can be applied at no extra cost bar the add on's that will be required to support such a progression. You'll note from this forum there are many other avenues you may wish to research, including bespoke tuners. From a personal perspective, I thinks it's important to find a reputable local tuner for support unless you are happy to travel! Good luck and enjoy your R.

Hi, Result. I'm sure they will look the nuts once on the car, having had a Reflex Silver Golf in the past. Will you be running them with spacers to fill the arches?
  13. Cheers Mate, car now booked in for the 24th at MDAutobahn, looking forward to it. Finally picked up some 19 inch wheels to create a bit of extra space for the brakes and to aid cooling. Did you get very far organising a weekend meet up for a coffee?
  14. Hi Batch, What pads did you go for with the racingline kit? Are there many options?
  15. At least it gives me someone else to blame for the hoover in the bank account!😪
  16. Hi, My first post by way of introduction. This is my third Golf; GTD, MK7R and now this MK7.5 in Indium Grey. I've already done quite a few mods, now looking for better brakes at Stage 2. Late to this forum, probably could have saved me lots of time and a few quid!
