Im only running the standard 18' Cadiz aswell. (I know...cardinal sin) 😆 So space is the next issue. The wheels I can change to accommodate as I was considering this anyway. Any idea what sort of size spacer would be needed?

Hi, I went for C-Hook Black Coated from MTEC. When I ordered mine I phoned up as the system said no stock but a call sorted this! Best value for money coated discs. EBC also do some but a bit more money.

Yea its hard as I can't justify the kit cost either. My car is a daily and not driven hard enough. Cheers for the link. People have put calipers on from Porsche etc. Maybe finding a used set or something could work? 🤔

Hi guys. Looking for recommendations on bigger calipers for the Golf R. Not for track at all or even the best possible performance. Purely the best looking for size against price? For example either new or used that fits directly on to a standard set up (with minimal aditional work) I know the TTRS are well used but the size isnt as impressive. Can something be fitted without requiring a whole brake kit upgrade? Looks & Cost are the priority. I currently run EBC Yellowstuff pads and MTEC C-Hook Discs all around. Cheers for any help 👍

Hi Guys, Not asking because it has any faults, just pre-empting possible work.... Just passed 40k (2015 Car) and has recently had full major service including plugs, filters. Also wiper blades and new battery. Due in for full discs, pads and BF change next week. It has had the DSG oil done and Haldex. What other parts either wear and tear or known failings on this model are there in higher mileage people have experienced? eg. any suspension areas such as bushes etc? Thanks 👌

UPDATE .... Just phoned them to get an update of stock estimate (tried this 2 times before) All sorted, you need a code to put in online. Due to limited supply they won't show as available on screen. Thanks 👍

Hi Guys, Looking to get some black coated discs from MTEC but they cant confirm when they have stock of this coating (but I cannot wait long). I cant find other discs with coating for the same cost. £270 for c-hook front and rear. Has anybody has any success just painting the non coated disc? Ive heard Hammerite could work, but if it wont last long then not very good. Any help is great Cheers
