Still got no sound from the speakers so going to check the fuses. Anyone know which one is for the HK? Also would disconnecting the battery trigger a hard reboot??

For the last 3 days I’ve had no volume from the stereo ( the volume control slider doesn’t even show anything on the screen when sliding), no front or rear parking sensors, no reverse camera, no rear traffic alert and no manoeuvre break and infotainment reboots. This is in addition to sos and travel assist errors that happen about 60 times on each journey. There’s a steering wheel been on back order for the last 2 months. Any idea how I can fix the stereo no volume and parking sensors? What is the latest software? I’m on 1896

Ffs 🤦🏻‍♂️ why do they have to make it so complicated 😆 Surely the majority of cars on the road have ADAS now

Need my wheels aligned according to the guy that fitted my 2 new front tyres, but apparently they ADAS will need recalibrating after this. Anyone heard of this before?

This is driving me insane. It’s happening 5-10 times a journey. Either disappears within seconds or the error messages stay. Spoke to VW dealership and been told there’s no update, and the software 1896 I’m on is the latest. Also getting the weird speed signs again, had an 80 today, then the nav keeps saying I’m somewhere in a field 10 miles away 😩😩

I’ve had 2 SOS error messages today. I thought this had been fixed ages ago?

Strange. I’ll ask when it goes in for the first service, but I already know what the reply will be!

Mines started with frequent software issues again, flickering reverse camera, all the errors about front assit, side assit etc 🙄, plus today the whole interior seemed to be creaking

My software is 1896 and I don’t have the “Max AC” button 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve found if you activate aircare the aircon gets colder 🤷

I’m going to have to do the same in future. It does annoy me how much VW have cost cut on the golf 🤬

Thanks 👍🏻 I’ll ask but I’m sure they’ll try and get out of doing it under warranty. I was only using a microfibre washmit gently and it just snapped. 🙄

Has anyone had a problem with their climate control temperature setting itself to high? Was driving along and noticed it was going up in 0.5 increments 😂. Had to pull over in the end. I get around 36-39mpg on mainly A roads on a 50 mile round trip to work.

What is the cost of the 1st service and 2nd service? Mines just 12m old with 7000 miles and it’s telling me: oil change in 135 days /6000 miles inspection service 360 days / 13100 miles

Had an error message about front and rear parking sensors not working again today, but this time the centre speaker was making a crackling sound. Thought 1896 was suppose to fix this 😒

Mines gone completely today. Had to use the key to get in the car and then put the fob in the drinks holder section in the middle to start the car
