Hey all, Just wondering, have any of you use the new GYEON Mohs EVO which is a ceramic coating? Looking to give my car ceramic coating and came across this product.

I think id prefer a slight performance increase with a little more noise over one where its more noisy with a decrease in performance

Thanks mate. The cotton one sounds way more practical as it says to fit it and leave it where the foam one needs cleaning, replacing after so long etc which just seems like a ballache. If there's no real noticeable difference then it's a no brainer for me to go for the cotton

I'll try and see if I can find any videos with the forge carbon intake so I can get an idea on sound. From what I've just seen in pictures it looks really nice. Think it's going to be a tough choice on which one to go for

Is there really that much difference between the foam and cotten? I've only ever owned cotten ones in the past

Thanks for your inputs guys. I hadn't heard of the Pikey mod so that's given me another option, managed to find a thread on this site regarding it and the bits needed to do it. It was the price of the racingline that put me off a bit at roughly £600 but if its worth the money then I'll take the punt. Looking at getting the Vagsport res delete as well so hopefully will have some better sounds over stock as it feels a bit too quiet

Hey everyone, I've been looking in to getting an induction kit for my golf R and from my research the Racingline R600 seems to be the preferred kit to buy. Has anyone on here got one? Did it make much performance gains once fitted?

It's something i'm looking to have done to mine as well as it seems to add a few extra pops and bangs + makes the exhaust a little louder

Hello mate! R looks great! I too came from a Focus RS mk2 which I loved but the R is a totally different beast. I couldn't believe how much faster the R feels over the RS

From watching some YouTube clips and reading various posts quite a few have mentioned the APR being of similar sound to the Akra for a much cheaper price. I'm definitely going to get a Res delete first and then go from there as I've been told that makes quite a bit of difference

Beauty,m doesn't sound too painful. With using the Bluetooth app do you have to keep setting the option every time you jump in to the car or is it literally a case of set it and leave it?

Was it easy to install?

My previous car was a corsa vxr as at the time i needed something a bit cheaper but before that I had a MK2 focus RS. On paper the MK2 RS is similar power but the Golf R is so much faster!

I had a Remus exhaust on my old Astra VXR Nurburgring and loved the sound which is why i'm considering the Remus. To people tend to go with the resonated versions when getting after market exhaust? That's one thing I want to try and avoid is big droney sounds

Beauty thanks mate I've been browsing youtube and it does seem to be compared to the Akro quite a bit and to be fair I can see why, sounds very similar. From what i've seen online the apr is a little more expensive than the Milltek/Remus but not by much

Haven't heard of APR before so i'll check them out. I was leaning towards a milltek or a Remus. Found out about Powervalve today and their exhausts sound great as well. Starting to get a few choices to choose from which is what i wanted. The difficult part will be choosing one haha

Thanks for your input. I'm all ears on peoples opinions . I have read that some people have gone down the route of getting a res delete which makes the world of difference so certainly an option. I'm not after anything too over the top and loud. Just something with a slightly louder tone but with the added pops and bangs
