Apologies if this is the wrong thread, but just wondered if anyone has tried the Michelin Cross Climate 3 Sport, and if so what you think to them?

Wow the paintwork looks incredible! As do the wheels! I’m new to detailing but can never get the wheels looking as good as the rest of the car, despite them being ceramic coated.

Looks really fantastic! You must be pleased with it? I was the same, even more excited to collect from the detailers, than the first collection! Interesting what your detailer said, mine said something similar, the doors in particular were severely swirled and had plastic blade scratches even though I had asked the dealership not to wash it and they said they hadn’t. So not sure what happened there, but all ok in the end thankfully, after correction.

Sorry for this question, you can tell this is my first Golf! 😂 But do I really have to double press the unlock button on the key to unlock the rear and passenger doors? If I just press unlock once then only the driver’s door unlocks. I understand it is something to do with Safelock but is there any way to change that? I can’t find it in the infotainment system…

Collected mine yesterday, and absolutely love it!! It is pretty dirty, (I asked the dealer not to wash it) but it’s going for detailing and ceramic coating tomorrow morning, so will post some photos once I pick it up on Tuesday.

The wait is almost over, collection day tomorrow 😁. Getting the train up to Donny in the morning. Am I the Last of the Marchians 😂 or is anyone after me?

8 March for me

Had the call from the dealer this am to say the car has arrived in the country, mine was BW3. I’m booked in to pick up in early March to get the 25 plate. Can’t wait, my first ever Golf! 😁

Yes and I suppose that is what I am weighing up. As others have said, when the car is at home I’d rather it is just taken than they come into the house looking for the keys. But on the other side, I don’t want it to be an easy target when parked at the station, for example.
