Hi Guys, I know this is a heavily debated topic, but I am thinking of upgrading my brake pads from the stocks... From what I have seen the two options I am deciding between are the Ferodo DS2500 and the EBC Yellow stuff? Has anyone tried both these pads and could offer any advice? Any other options people could recommend? Cheers! (I am running drilled discs by the way, so aggressive pads should not be a problem)

Afternoon all, Apologies if this has already been covered. I'm looking to smarten up the brakes (rusty rotors) I have pretty much decided on the EBC black coated discs all round. I like the dimpled and grooved design. I know people say dimpled one's are more prone to cracking but I have never experienced this and they look better than the grooved only one's (don't like the J hook design). Have many on here gone this route? I may go BBK in the future but just for now these fit what I want to spend to smarten the car up. I'm unsure what pad to go with, EBC yellowstuff has been recommended but I don't know. It's been years since i've had EBC pads. I want a pad that is quiet, road legal, uses factory wear indicators (if we have them?) and not too much brake dust if possible! Can you help? Thanks

Just curious if anyone is running EBC Yellows and having issues with front fitment in their .:R as well as having issues where the pads stick to the rotors when they get wet when the car is sitting? I am not talking about long term sitting It happened on both my cars when it rained here over night. Brakes were not submerged in standing water. When moving cars, I heard a pop and a chunk of the pad broke off and was attached to the rotor. As far as fitment, the front pads on the R have play inside the caliper and you can here them shift when going over bumps. It sounded like a metal clanking noise. Pads were only in the car for 2 months at the time.
