AMD Posted June 24, 2019 Report Share Posted June 24, 2019 Welcome to the forum, I was a long time lurker here coming from an E93 M3, before ordering a new WLTP car. Wanted to keep it under £40k list so went with the following options:LeatherPretorias SunroofWanted DCC but wanted the other stuff more! Having driven it, it is spirited but not crashy over bumps, had a BMW with run flats before the M3 and that was awful. As a passenger I would say it would be better with DCC, but I can live with it.Sunroof is good to hear exhaust, and also lightens the cabin when the blind is back. I would recommend this.Pretorias - I would recommend these as well, although there is some concern that the OEM wheels are fragile and can buckle. The pretoria replicas from CM wheels are rumoured to be stronger albeit a bit heavier.Standard sound system in 7.5 is great, hear dynaudio is a good upgrade but I’m ok with standard, there is a retrofit kit that gets you near Dynaudio quality.Discover Pro - it’s possible to upgrade to touch screen new system I think, so you might consider this as optional depending on your point of view 7.5 - I would go this route if you can stretch to it, the dash, tech, safer placement of front radar for ACC is better. Ah good spot, thanks, did notice that in various 7 vs 7.5 threads and YouTube videos etc. Both my current tuned 125d and previous m135i had zf8 gearboxes which are silky smooth. My precious A3 2.0T had a 6 speed DSG and was ok but a little harsh, however this was a 2006 car so I’d imagine both the 7ers 6 and 7.5s 7 are a big step up.
