If there is CCTV covering the area that the car was parked in, make a FOI Subject Access Request, whoever operates the CCTV is then legally obliged to provide any data (footage in this case) that relates to you (i.e. your car) and hopefully will have the Reg No of offending vehicle. Good luck.

I'd phone a few dealers and get quotes for two separate services, although VW (sometimes) illegally try and price fix, my experience is that some dealers don't comply and use their own prices.

If you browse the site mate, there are various threads regarding what are must have options, but as the car is so well specced as standard you don't need to tick many option boxes.

The standard tips are the oval shape same as the chrome tips that fit over them, so you may struggle to get any aftermarket ones that are the same same shape. If you really wanted to go to town on them it would probably have to be a cut and weld job to fit circular tubing, then there are plenty of aftermarket tips that will fit. If you look on Ebay there sometimes is a full system with chrome tips removed.

Laths that used to be the case with mine, wifes Polo had far better lights, once I physically adjusted them, dipped beam was so good I hardly needed high beam and never got flashed by oncoming drivers who I would have dazzled if beam was too high.

Not sure if same applies to MK7.5 R, but some months ago on here there was a debate regarding headlight beam being too low. It was agreed that VW sourced headlights from 2 suppliers and one was noticeably better than the other.
