  1. It is all paid just thought they had not followed process that's all. Painless experience still cheaper but miffed as it was not me that damaged it but some cretin in a car park
  2. Hello, handed back the wife's GTD in March. Car inspected and BCA left an estimate sheet with 154 quid due to a small dent and scratch. Would have cost me more fixing it myself. However just been billed today with a invoice posted last week. BVRLA states they must inform you of charges within 28 days. They did not do this is the 28 days forceable? It was vwfs. Thanks Paul
  3. Just going to chance the dent when I hand it back. As for the tyres they have just been checked during the service all have 4mm all around. Car has only done 7500. I can see what you are saying but it's the dirty roads on a new housing estate which I think makes it look like that with the flash
  4. It's actually a dent not just a scratch.
  5. Here are a couple of pictures. The dent is clear on the first pic. The second pic just shows the area, drivers side front wing. right where the wheel arch stops being vertical and curves into the curved part of the wing. I may just leave it and take my chances as its very small. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  6. Car goes back in 5 months, I will get a pic and post it up later on today. Thanks so far for the replies
  7. Hello, Some cretin has damaged the wife's GTD it's around 5mm ding in the front wing right on the crease that goes from the vertical to the curved section. I am talking about the wheel arch area. Is this classed as a swage line? In the bvrla that says it's not allowed what cost would I be billed by vwfs. Regards Paul
  8. Can I be cheeky and ask where from and costs please
  9. Love the car and the tech available, especially the head lamps. You lease or buy?
  10. That's the weekend job to learn what to do on a quiet stretch of road.
  11. Why are you so smooth. Just handed in the manual hatchback for the estate DSG and it is so smooth I cannot see me going manual again. Only done 20 miles but it is so smooth. Post more once I have fully run it in but now a DSG convert
  12. Going for the R passion wagon with DSG on a lease with vwfs from the last dealer I had a lease with. Looking forward to the DSG and went for flat white as too tight to pay for paint on a lease.
  13. Well BCA have just been and estimate has zero cost. Rear allow has cloudy bits on the lacquer. Still no cost estimated. Condition Rating is B few stone chips but nothing major. Tyres have 3mm but all fair wear and tear. No mention of usb cables etc on the check sheet New car in 2 days. Really straight forward for my first lease. Now leasing forever unless I get a great deal for buying.
  14. They never said but the will be going back with the car
  15. Hello, Rang BCA to arrange inspection and collection and was told the following: 1 wash and clean the car. 2 have both keys 3 all handbooks etc. 4 must be collected the day after inspection 5 car must be driveable. 6 tyres must be legal. 7 keep insurance on the car until collection. They also said I had to fill out the v5. Not sure I ever got one for the car as it's a vwfs lease. Do they not keep the v5. As for fuel just leave 2 gallons in it? Paul
