I also fitted the RamAir elbow and hose at the weekend and was pleasantly surprised with the difference it made. It probably took about 15 minutes from start to finish to install both the parts, so a very easy mod. Not sure if performance is improved, but it certainly feels more responsive.

Really is a personal preference. Mine is black (DBP) and I love it when it's clean, which is very rare at the moment with all the grit and salt on the roads! When summer comes around and the weather improves I'm sure that i'll be thinking I made the right choice with black again. Previous cars have been grey, red, and blue so I clearly don't have a preference! If I were to choose again now for the R it would be black again or Reflex Silver. Okay, maybe Reflex Silver!

Replaced mine due to the same issue a couple of weeks ago. The warning light showed up on the dash saying there was an issue with the cornering lights. Both cornering lights did not work as a result of this. As Rebecca mentioned, try putting the car in reverse and get someone to see if they turn on. If not, chances are that one of the bulbs has gone but it stops both from working. I changed the bulbs and it solved the problem. I think I just put some Osram Nightbreakers in as I didn't see the point installing anything too expensive as they aren't on all the time.

Haven't heard of these, but can recommend the Direct Hoses own pressure washers. I own a Nilfisk c120 which is on it's last legs and will be upgrading to a washer from Direct Hoses when it finally packs in.

I have a wo wo wheel mitt to fit in the tiny gap between wheel and caliper. I use about 1ft of a graphite golf shaft and stick that into the wo wo wheel mitt and it fits in perfectly! Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk

No detailing for my R this week due to a weekend in London. Currently killing some time before a meeting and watching the car wash lads at a supermarket clean cars. It's making me feel ill. A mitt in each hand, cleaning the entire car without a rinse out, and worst of all he starting out with the rear bumper and exhaust! I hope the owner of the M4 enjoys swirls!
