  4. Thanks for the feedback. Decided on Brembo mainly because I just got an offer code from carparts4less. Meaning Brembo pads and discs vented. Came in at£104!! Bargain. Back to my second question anyone found a way to release the electric brake to wind back callipers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Thanks for the reply’s all. Does anyone know what brand we use as oem? I’m currently looking at the brembo sets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Needing new disks and pads 2015 R. What have people found to be good quality and had a decent life with? I’m not after BBK or anything crazy. And has anyone found a set of disks with Ali or well finished bells so they won’t corrode like standards? I was also half thinking about doing the clubsport disks and pads? Any decent quality, well performing parts to recommend ? Also how have people got round releasing the rear brake without vagcom? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Going to have to have a test in mine now... [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I assume the gearbox is the same in the 7.5 is it? My 7 I don’t really rate the gearbox changes 1-3 are poor.. but I definitely get just over 60 in 2nd. Would assume the 7.5 with the extra hp should be the same.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Mk7 R 2015 gets 60 in second Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah wish I’d gone dsg knowing what I now know although going through the gears on a decent road is a bonus Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Also no clutch slip yet, but plans are new clutch and stage 2 next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah it’s a 2015 I’ve been toying with the idea of an additive to allow a slicker shift. I’m not sure about warm changes to be fair I do mostly short journeys and town driving so use 1-3 the most and it is frustrating.. 4-6 are dreamy 4-3 is a bit lumpy. I also find if I’m over 4K revs the change is better but obviously in town I’ll be into the back of some one before i get third [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Had my R over a year now it’s got 30k on the clock and had 23k when I bought it. I find gear changes 1-3 are absolutely awful. I thought it was clonky before whilst it was still in warranty. Took it in a few times Vw drove it tested it and said can’t see anything wrong feels normal. I tested a manual before this one and I couldn’t remember that feeling quite as bad. Never misses a shift but just feels awful. 1-2 especially has anyone had anything similar? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Both great threads and appreciate the Effort you put into the forums detailing section clearly a huge passion of yours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
