  1. Thanks, i'll sort that out now. apologies Done, i changed the picture to an updated one
  2. which car are you doing it on, 7 or 7.5? there are less options currently for the 7.5. I did my beeps on the 7 with Carista, but not the washers, i use OBD-11 now as its far more encompassing.
  3. It might mean the alarm chirps, you could test it by leaving the window down and locking it, then reaching in and opening the car from the inside, or locking it sat in, then waiting a minute and moving around, either of those should set it off. I don't think you can turn the actual alarm off, just the noises it makes when you lock and unlock. I've set mine to chirp when locking, but not when opening, so i know i've pressed the right one!
  4. Strange, I don't use it anymore so I can't check, but it definitely was on there as I did mine with it!
  5. No, mk7 only, the 7.5 has the chasing led's, not sure you can even change that.
  6. Its not as comprehensive as OBD11, Carista is good and simple. You can read codes with it, reset them, and you can check service lights i believe. OBD11 does the same, and more. As far as live data goes, I cant answer that, but i dont think so. However, there are other apps out there that use the same bluetooth dongle to read the ecu for live data. Torque (lite) Dashcommand both of those work with the carista dongle.
  7. Pace car rear lights alternates the inner light with the outer one. Have a look on youtube, there are a fair few videos of it.
  8. Thanks, they are definitely plugged in, i made sure of that, they also definitely work. I have cleared the faults with OBD11 now, so i will see what happens from now on.
  9. Thanks for reply, yes agreed, but they are not! The valves are functional and work, but I've still got the codes! I haven't checked since I had that battery off at the weekend, so I'll look again.
  10. Hi all, I've got two codes up for the exhaust flaps, I unplugged them a while ago to see if I liked it, but I plugged them back in again, they both work but I've still got the error codes up and can't seem to get rid of them with carista. Am I missing something? Thanks

  12. I did this today, i completely removed the exhaust out the back and cut it on the ground, then refitted with the silencer delete, took me about an hour or so to do. Took a little longer to get it off the ramps as its had a moment, i unplugged the battery, and things didnt want to work for a while after! Its done though, sounds good, however, i unplugged the valves, i think i am going to plug them back in in the morning!
  13. That's going to be a game changer, but then it depends on price, obd11 doesn't charge for long coding I think! I'd appreciate your feedback on the exhaust flap, I can't get it to work on mine. I was going to unplug them, but I'm not flexible enough and my hands are both too large and not strong enough to unplug! Ta M
  14. Ah that's cool, can you try the exhaust valve mod please, i cant seem to get it to work on mine. I get an error saying it cant connect to the car. I've spoken to Carista about it and they just came back with 'perhaps the car just cant do it' which seems a bit weird. I'm thinking i'll probably move on to the OBD 11 at some point, i like Carista, but its maybe a little basic.
  15. That's fair enough, it's not like i won't wait! Lol. Is a good system, a few bits don't want to work, but with a bit of fettling it'll be spot on.
