Installed 15mm Spacers on the rear and 12mm on the front and applied new R Caliper stickers. While the wheels were off, took the opportunity to clean and seal the wheels. While cleaning the car after install I received this from the Gods at Forge (Carbon intake kit & High flow Turbo Elbow pipe), Installed on the Sunday! Busy weekend.

I fitted this along with the Forge Carbon intake on the weekend. Noticed a difference in throttle response straight away. Easy to fit yourself too with the help of a few youtube vids.

Thanks! I had a 2.0 TSI Scirocco previously, the GTI seemed like the next step. Loved the GTI but after driving the R at the dealer I was sold. The sound, speed and handling did it for me in the end!

Evening all, Had my 2017 Lapiz Mk7.5 for 6 months now after test driving a GTI on a free weekend... Been keeping an eye on a few topics here and thought it’s time to say hi. I have started with the Mods, installed a Racechip GTS Black chip and had an RPM performance de-res pipe put on. I’ve just bought spacers, 12mm at the front and 15mm at the rear, will be putting these on as soon as I get a free weekend. I have a Forge carbon air intake kit as well as the high flow inlet hose on the way. The plan is to do as much of the work myself so hoping to get some hints and tips on here from seasoned R owners 🤙🏻.

Hi all, Looking for some advice here. These arrived today, all looks good, good quality and build and everything included. One thing I noticed is the lug nuts provided don’t seem to be as long as some of the ones I’ve seen used before. Bolts provided are 14X1.5 x 40mm. Do these sound long enough to secure OEM Cadiz wheels and the spacers?
