Excess metal from poor finishing on left side tailpipe. Good job my wash mitt took the brunt of it and not my fingers! Waiting on dealer to respond and I have requested them to ask VW to contact me to discuss this issue I missed this at time of collection, but how it left the factory like this is baffling.

Hi. Could anyone with the diamond cut estorils be able to measure the depth of the diamond cut rim/lip to the black face alloy? I'm looking to have my black estorils powder coated then have the face diamond cut. I just want to ensure there is enough clearance on my black estorils to have it looking Oem as possible. I'm assuming the wheels are just black estorils and diamond cut from factory? Thanks in advance.

Just installed the nextbase piqo dashcam - was on the hunt for a small discreet dashcam with no dispaly and came across this. Managed to get it for £90 @ Halfords

Thank for clarifying @Booth11 it seems changing the assist to different modes takes away the steering wheel symbol. I just wanted to check to make sure I didn't have a fault after having steering wheel recalibrated.

Might be something I've missed but is there a way to clear the driving assist symbols on the dash not in use? Hopefully the above image host link works

@AHG yeah, brand new 8.5R. The master technician knocked the steering wheel back, took it for a test drive and once he was happy he recalibrated the steering wheel which also cleared the airbag fault, so I assume the issue was from the steering wheel itself from factory - basically poor quality control. In regards to the charging port, I read on a different forum someone had issues after they had work carried out to their steering wheel. A hard reset on the system (holding down infotainment power button for 30 seconds) fixed it. Luckily it fixed mines too!

I've had my fair share of issues since collection day on Tuesday afternoon. Few now fixed. 1. Came out dealership and headed on the M1 and got up to speed to then notice my steering wheel was not aligned to my tracking. My steering wheel was a good few clicks right from centre when I was driving straight. 2. Pulled in to nearest service station to call dealership and my Airbag symbol magically appeared on my dash.. Dealer gave me 2 options, either to drive 3.5 hours to Glasgow and take it my local dealer the next morning or, do a u-turn and they'll have their master technician on it starhghta way. I chose the latter as I had only driven 20 minutes from collection point. I have to say Barnsley dealership was fantastic and looked after us and had me back on the road in less than an hour with issues fixed. 3. After driving a couple of hours I noticed the USB type C ports weren't working as my phone hadn't charged. Few searches on Google and a hard reset on the infotainment fixed the issue (still using the same cable). 4. Past 2 mornings I've had the SOS warning come on the dash. I will keep an eye on this as it does clear after a few minutes. It might be because of the frosty mornings and the fact I haven't had time to clean my car from the 4 hour drive yet 😅
