  1. Looking great. Love the estate and white looks good. Bet you're pleased
  2. I'm the same. I know if I do it myself I'll scratch it or do something to it that makes it imperfect. At least with a professional, that's one less thing to worry about!
  3. Thank you. Not sure why my last one was black really. I agree with the colour and alloy combination. Toyed with black alloys but wasn't sure if the lovely detail would show through. Pleased with the final result.
  4. They still get to go in the Mk7 estate and that's plenty nice enough (and fast enough) for them even if it is 9 years old!
  5. Other than the stone chips, I'm loving it. Coming from Mk7 R estate so a noticeable difference.
  6. They're the 19" ones so not standard. They came with the PP when I ordered it
  7. Thanks. Looks even better in the flesh. I can't stop opening the front door and looking at it! Not sure if I'm ever going to let the dogs in!
  8. Here are a few more pics post detailing/ceramic coating. I now know why you didn't get the dealer to wash it but all issues resolved (other than a couple of stone chips which is annoying but one of those things)
  9. And I have Hankooks. So no rhyme nor reason
  10. I've only had mine for 5 days and loving it already. You won't be disappointed. Though I'm not letting my dogs in it at the moment. It's too nice for them!
  11. I've only got one photo without my number plate so far. Once the car has been properly dealt with in a couple of weeks I'll post some more. Hope this works:
  12. Collected my R estate yesterday. Built first week of February. Much more responsive than my mk7 R. No gifts for me 😭. And ironically, I ordered a boot liner and it wasn't there! Apparently on back order with no ETA. Other than that, all is good
  13. Collecting my estate next Thursday. Nice long 300 mile round trip to get used to it on Friday. My personal plate has my initials, my wife's initials and the year we got married so means nothing to anyone except us
  14. I've just heard from my dealer that my R Estate will be arriving there tomorrow. Sounds like they want me to collect next week - not a problem as long as they give me a couple of extra weeks tax as I have a personal plate and I plan on keeping it until it dies (I've had my current Mk7 R Estate for 9 years now - my wife will be using it going forward)...starting to get excited now!
