BW24 estimated, then the dealership mixed mine and my dad's orders and he jumped the allocation queue. His was built BW24, mine was scheduled for BW28 thereafter, then BW32, BW33, confirmed for BW33, but actually built in BW34. It was delivered to the dealership on Sept 6th and I picked it up on the 8th. There is a 3 week shutdown BW29-31 - doubtful anything will get built then. All those who are getting the 16 spec the Media version 2 is much better I have it on my Passat and it's faster smoother and does the radio logos with out uploading to a sd card...its worth the wait..if I knew my Bw would take this long I would have waited for that.. On another good note I already had my £250 vouches for John Lewis and we I picked up the car the dealer had been back on to VW and also got me a weekend away for 2 at a luxury hotel/spa place ....so very happy. . Will have to see what Ronald at VW UK is offering for my 8 month wait when he calls me back on Friday to tell me the car is in the UK (I know already). I suspect it'll be feck-all. He all but confirmed that they strongarm the dealership into dipping into their own pocket for these goodwill gestures, and I don't think my dealership has got enough margin left to be generously compensating me for VW AG's shambolic ordering and allocation system.
