Booked in for a £99 are con service today and they phoned back and said they’ve just had this recall issued . Bodyboarder81 Posted July 14, 2022 Author Report Share Posted July 14, 2022 Do the tdi run the same box as the R ? trouble is for me I’m under the ‘ all in ‘ vw warranty…. If I don’t have it done then I’m pretty sure if anything goes wrong with the box and I’ve declined having the update , I’ll be hung out to dry might phone them up or pop in and get some more details on it . All they’ll do is spray sanitizer on the evaporator. seen this said a few times but doing some research you do loose gas over time through rubber hoses / gaskets … this makes the air con pump work harder and could potentially cause issues down the line .
