  1. My course was two years ago, after being caught doing 80 in a 70 zone. The course even had a copper on it who had been caught! They spent 4 hours showing pictures of car accidents with blood covered windscreens saying "that was someone's head that did that. Learnt nothing, just had a 60 year old ex driving instructor preaching and trying to make us feel very guilty. Got done again 6 months later doing 75 in a 70. Not been done now in 18 months [emoji56], got six points right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Well, I opted to stick to the bridgestones, partlt to keep things the same all round, partly for cost, and partly because I'll probably be changing the golf in a year, and the next will come with 19 black pretorias, so will hopefully be back on continentals. Looks like I've started quite s debate with this question, thanks for the advice though. I'm now in Normandy running in the new boots. Take care and safe drinking everyone. 3. Hi all, Thanks for the advice. Might look at changing all 4, price depending. Will see if I I can get a good discount buying four or two and using my IAM membership, so this might help swing it. Thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hi all, After some advice, should you mix tyres? Currently have Bridgestone, but the fronts need replacing after 22k, rears are all good. Was going to have good year or continental fitted on the front, or should I stick with the bridge stones? Many thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Had a ride in one for the first time last month during a visit to California. Very impressive acceleration, but I could not stand having no engine noise. Its technologically great, but has no soul, no feel. I could not take take to it. Plus the center console looked like someone had watched Trigger happy TV, and took the idea of the huge phone, copied the iPhone and stuck it in the middle of the dashboard. During the same trip, I had a ride in an M4, as a passenger, not driving, That's how a car should sound.looks the part and has the right feel about it. I cannot get out of my head the thought that electric cars are just milk floats. At least they are better than the Toyota Pompus.
  13. No ruler number plate, no race can. My old bike would not of looked good with one of them. I used to ride a CB1300s. Have tried to post a piccy, but not allowed
  14. I'm old school and still like wiring up my speakers. Wires around the house don't bother me, keep the lights on dim and you wiont see them. 7.1 is the only way to go.
  15. Hope to see it either tomorrow, or next week. Don't want to go over the weekend, will be too busy with noisy people munching nachos far too loudly.
  16. I'd be paranoid too. But then I am a ex-biker, so I know its not paranoia, the police always have it in for me!
  17. Count me in, i'll come down from Ipswich. I voted for the 29th, after pay day Please don't move to Feb, as its likely i will be in the USA for work.

Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec Estate - My dads ex company car, needed something to replace the Mk3, that was cheap. VW Passat TDI 130 Sport - AWESOME, just AWESOME! Volvo C30 D5 (2.5lt 5cyl version) R Design sport - Heart ruled my head on this one, went to look at a Mk5 GTI, bought the Volvo. stunning to look at, dull to drive. VW Mk 7 R - Had this for a year now, Bikes Suzuki TS50X x 2 Honda NS125F Suzuki GS500e Suzuki GSF600 Bandit Triumph 750 Speed Triple (one of only 150 made) Honda CB1300s Specialzised Crosstrail sport Hybrid Take care all
