Thanks for the suggestions, nah I still get the same on the My VW app and the images are not loaded.

In a slightly related topic, my app still doesn't show my actual car.... Still defaults to this basic image (as below), any reasons why?

Happy to report I collected this beauty from Barnsley on Friday😍 I've already done 220 miles in fairly grubby weather, but lovin the upgrade from my 8 year old S3. Also pleased to have the boot liner, window blinds and Park assist Pro all fitted 🍾🎉 For anyone interested, I've got Hankook tyres and they seem good to me, not that I've pushed too hard into corners yet. Going to try and fit my spare tyre and jack into the boot with polystyrene tray ( I took from my S3 ) later... hope it fits. Warning triangle already installed 😀 Anyway I'll try to take some better photos soon after I've had some ceramic coating done.

Well that escalated quickly, it's made it to the UK port and it's been registered, not sure how long it'll take to get to the dealership though. Perhaps I'll have it by the end of the month 🎉

I was BW51, and was notified last week it had finally left the factory and is en route. The dealership said upto 3 weeks to get to them. My order is Lapiz BE, Pano, 360 camera, airbags, HK, Warmenau wheels, DCC. Hopefully will get the Park assist, liner and shades for free.😃

Finally got the call that my car is en route to the dealership 🎉 Not sure what the hold up was as it was supposed to be being built in wk 51, perhaps the panto roof but who knows...

and while we're at it, its a big no to 3d and Gel plates, tacky as hell 🤢

The subtle lettering on the plates is fine, but the duplication on the surround is a bit OTT for me

I'll be taking the rear one with the advertising off straight away when I get mine. Dont know why folk drive around with stickers of dealerships in windows etc, if they are not getting paid to 🤣

My car was supposed to be built in week 51, but when I spoke to the dealer on Friday there was still no update on its status... hoping for some positive new this week that it has snook onto a Cargo ship 😅

Small update, my Build week is set to wk51. With Est delivery mid / late Jan? Hopefully the factory doesn't leave remnants of the Xmas party buffet or Lebkuchen in the interior 😆
