Had a stage 6 text a week after the car was offloaded in the UK. Still waiting for leasing paperwork to be approved by VWFS and no sign of the car being delivered to the dealership, the wait goes on.

My car was already built and waiting to go onto a ship at Emden when I called on 3/3/15 (BW10); called again on Wednesday (11/3/15) and car is still at Emden.

No news of what ship it's going on - all I know is it's being taken to Sheerness - just a case of when!

No texts since 6/2/15 when I was confirmed BW10 and tracker is currently on 5 (in transit).

(BW9)  My tracker still says stage 5 and I've not had any text's since the 5a text, however I did receive my finance docs yesterday, LingsCars say that means the car must be at stage 40 as a minimum (at UK port).... I hope they are right!!

Same here. I'm BW09 and car has been sitting at Emden since 4/3/15. No texts since 30/1/15 and tracker is on stage 5.

Not sure why a lot of us have stopped receiving text/email updates, if it was the same for everyone I'd understand but that doesn't seem to be the case. I had no issues with the long wait since ordering to the car being built but I feel the process has been very poor since getting built. Car taking days to get to the port for some but others get there in a day. Sitting at the port for weeks but again others get onto a ship within a day or 2. Later BW's jumping ahead of earlier BW's. The whole transporting process just seems very disorganised and there doesn't seem to be an actual process. This is reflected in the responses we get when contacting VWCS, @VWUKHelp and our retailers.

VW need to review it in my opinion.

I agree it's very frustrating, especially as there's no rhyme or reason!

Apparently once the car has been sitting there for two weeks it becomes a "priority" - whatever that means!?

No doubt there are some BW10/11 cars ahead of both of us!

Be prepared for the wait at Sheerness (or wherever yours is headed) too!
