Interparcel additional charges?

They won't take you to court.  They will probably pass it to a debt recovery agency that will hound you by phone, email and post.  The letters will have a nice threatening tone and will be written in bold red type.  If you are happy to deal with that then don't pay it.

No debt will have been established, only debts through the court process are enforceable, those letters have no standing and should be use in lieu of loo paper.

I didn't say they were enforceable.  Receiving harassing calls, emails and letters on a daily basis is however a pain in ass.

Once the parcel company get fed up with no response, it will be passed to debt recovery.  They will have a go for a month or two before they give up and it's forgotten about.

It was a car bumper I sent, naturally I don't have another the same and would cost me roughly the same to get hold of one for the purpose of this, I'll have a look what I have laying round in my unit that I could possibly package up and photograph if you think that will work? 😂

Hi Bex

Thanks for the information.  Unless evidence can be provided by yourselves then I am afraid I will not be paying any such charges.  You entered into a contract when the courier collected the parcel and subsequently delivered.  All measurements were accurate as I did them myself so unless you can provide hard evidence rather than hearsay I will take any further correspondence from your company or related agencies as harassment and will be dealt with accordingly.

Yours faithfully.

Thats pretty much what I said in the last email, and the above is what she replied to me,  we seem to be going round in circles... would you suggest reiterating the point or just leaving it for now?

as I say, the only evidence she has provided me is a table which has some measurements filled in.
