Interesting that VW UK categorically stated the tech (lane assist, etc.) couldn't be fitted to 3 doors as the doors were too long whereas it all worked on the LHD cars??? Looks like this version's been pulled from the server, discovercare attempts to download a newer version that fails the CRC check at the end (I have 150 FTTP so have tried multiple times). Manual download now downloads V1115 whatever that is!

Think there's a bug in the new nav software - when driving on a national speed limit dual carriageway the max speed is 60 and not the 70 it should be. For example: traffic sign recognition will read the 70 sign on entering a motorway, but when smart motorways drop this they return to national and not 70 car reports limit at 60! 2 1/2 years ago VW stiffed its DSG and leather seat supplier - so my car failed to materialise. VW UK and the dealers blamed all sorts of things for the delay when the truth was clearly visible in the German press! VW doesn't split suppliers on key components.
