It turned out to be a mistake (delay by the Finance Company in updating their database !! ... but worth getting sorted). I have seen cases on ( https://www.facebook.com/dodgycarsuk/ ) of main dealers (including VW) having HPI checked stock for sale that Vcheck shows as unrecorded salvage and some of them were in a bad way sss555, dj219957 and slider09 1 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stobsie Posted November 4, 2021 Report Share Posted November 4, 2021 If buying from a VW main dealer as said they would’ve already carried out a HPI or Experian check and they should provide that to you anyway, also don’t be alarmed if it does flag outstanding finance as a lot of dealers actually have short term financing on their stock.
