  1. Well if that's the case then it won't flag a TD1.
  2. Picked mine up last week after it gave up on 34k. New pump fitted and back to normal. Tell tale sign was leaving 11's everywhere. I even pulled out my street one day and it was hopping and skipping so hard the front radar fell off. 😂
  3. Never had this issue with mine. Certainly no worse than standard pads.
  4. Track day isn't racing so not excluded in the terms. Turn front assist off, it will catch you out. I forgot to turn it off and having it emergency stop in torrential rain at 115mph is not fun! Check tyre pressures. It's a heavy car so your pressure will rise even after a few laps, get a hand held tyre gauge cause you will burn your finger trying to let air out without something proper. Brake fluid will probably boil if it's standard but other than that they're great fun and very capable on track. Also take your plates off or tape them up.
  5. Keep an eye on Demon Tweeks, that's where I picked mine up G. Or give kenwhy_7r a shout as he mentioned getting rid of his to me a while back.
  6. Sitech have moved to Wellwood in Dunfermline - 2 mins from Knockhill.
  7. I'm sorry I don't understand, what am I meant to be backpedalling from?
  8. I take it your warranty has been voided then and you're talking from first hand experience of TD1? Anyways, I'm out. Enjoy your standard cars.
  9. So you're telling me that even if I map my ECU then flash back to stock the dealer will still detect it and void my warranty? And that's a fact right?
  10. Took my Revo one off after a week cause it made too much noise lol.
  11. That's interesting to know, what have you based that on?
  12. A tuning box won't invalidate your warranty. People need to stop posting so much shit about TD1 this TD1 that. Map your car, enjoy it. If it blows up flash it back to stock or get your box off and get it fixed.
  13. Mine flashed up at 10k so I reset it and took it in for one around 18k iirc. Done the same on my dads and his was in for its 20k service today.
  14. VWR springs were awesome after my first dodgy ones got replaced. Handling improved too with less but just enough body roll for serious driving. As for brakes, standard brakes with the right fluid are more than enough. I ran ATE TYP 200 and never boiled them once and I was on my 3rd set of pads at 12 months so they took some amount of abuse.

    Vcds how to get it?

You're also paying for the support if you get a genuine cable. You can't post on the RossTech forum without a genuine serial number. They're brilliant with support when something goes wrong or you need to know anything specific but can't find anything on forums yet. Well worth the investment of the real deal plus the cables are always worth good money if you wish to shift it on at a later date.
  16. Computer doesn't detect badges IIRC.
  17. Apologies if that sounded harsh - I was skim reading lol. I assumed Sam wanted rid of his 10k service warning as it's not due till 20k.
  18. I went through 3 sets on mine before giving up and running without lol.
  19. Some absolute shit gets posted on this forum some times.
  20. Need to try a little harder lol!
