Stage 1 1/4 Mile / 0-60 Leaderboard?

Sorry to rain on your parade but this is most likely measured through the OBD port and not GPS so therefore not very accurate -
Stage 1 1/4 Mile / 0-60 Leaderboard?
George 3G replied to George 3G's topic in Modifying your Golf R MK7
Hi all, I negleted this thread a bit but I've just been through and updated it, I think I'll split it to show 1/4 Mile, 100-200 and 0-60 separately so it's easier to see how everyone ranks in each category. I've also added the stage 2 times, even though this was originally a stage 1 leaderboard. My best times are as follows Stage 1 - Full weight 0-60 - 3.41s 1/4 Mile 11.65s 100-200 n/a Stage 1 - Semi stripped (-51kg) 0-60 - 3.30s 1/4 Mile 11.42s 100-200 9.40s Pretty impressive for a stage 1 car in my opinion, I run another leaderboard on Facebook and this is the quickest Stage 1 car in all three catergories. Hopefully I can get the 0-60 into the 3.2Xs soon. I'll be at Santa Pod on the 11th for GTI Festival if anyone else is keen? -
Gorgeous car Donal, where is your rear upper brace and cargo net from please?

I've updated your time on the first post @blower, this moves you into second position now ahead of @Mading10 -
Nice work Kieran, where is the rear diffuser from? I've also fitted Mk7.5 tail lights to my white R, makes such a difference!

Nice time @blower, I've added you t the first post. You should get your time added to the Facebook group leaderboard too: -
I have that CTEK charger for my R too as it can sometimes go unused for weeks on end 👍

Lovely R Donal, do I remember you having a red Edition 30?

Stage 1 1/4 Mile / 0-60 Leaderboard?

Nice time @Bolt I have found an online leaderboard run by the admin of the UK Mk7 Golf R Facebook group, info here: -
Hi all, There's an online leaderboard here run by one of the members on the UK MK7 Golf R Owners Club Facebook group for for 0-60mph, 1/4 Mile, 60-100mph and 100-200kmh times. There's a button on the site to submit your Dragy time to the admin via Messenger. It would be good to get some more time on there! https://dragywars.co.uk/

Stage 1 1/4 Mile / 0-60 Leaderboard?
George 3G replied to George 3G's topic in Modifying your Golf R MK7
Had another couple of goes on Saturday and matched my best 0-60 time of 3.48s! I'll try and get some 1/4 mile times to post too. Times are looking very consistent Any other takers? There must be more members on here that are Stage 1 with dragy! -
Have you asked KW?

I thought the DSG farts were an engineered noise. When launching a DSG car and letting the car shift in auto the car doesn't DSG fart, I guess for quicker shifts?

Stage 1 1/4 Mile / 0-60 Leaderboard?
George 3G replied to George 3G's topic in Modifying your Golf R MK7
Thanks Damian, I was pleased too! The car had half a tank of fuel so maybe I could improve it a little, plus with a bit more practice. Looking at my Dragy history I've also done a 3.49, 3.64, 3.53 and a 3.51 so it looks fairly consistent and not a fluke / glitch! I've just edited my time slip post to include the full car spec. I'll try and keep on top of this thread and keep an up to date table in the first post, I'll probably add more detail to it in the future including full car spec ect. When posting a time please state all modifications 👍 -

MRC Stage 1 APR TCU Software TT Intake Pipe BMC Air Filter BCS Res Delete 0-60mph - 3.48s I've only had a few goes so I'm hoping to improve on this yet, ignore the 1/4 mile as the road wasn't long enough and I had to bail. -
Anyone done the Golf R 7.5 rear tails retrofit on there 7R
George 3G replied to Dr.R's topic in Modifying your Golf R MK7
Try these for the inner lights: Light 27NSL RC6-dimming AB 27 - Change to 127 Light 27NSL RC6-dimming CD 27 - Change to 0 Light 27NSL RC6 light function C 27 - Change to not active If you are using VCDS to change the adaptions these may come up in German, so light function is lichtfunktion for example Let me know how you get on -
Why not the TTE475? They sell it for €1125 or £970ish as an upgrade, which is the same as what your paying for the Littco

Would anyone be interested in doing a Stage 1 1/4 Mile / 0-60 Leaderboard? Would be nice to have it as a sticky somewhere. Anyone done the Golf R 7.5 rear tails retrofit on there 7R
George 3G replied to Dr.R's topic in Modifying your Golf R MK7
I've done this with genuine lights, carsystems adaptors and coding with vcds if anyone wants any pointers. Personally I would be staying away from any Chinese stuff, I just prefer the OEM route. -
Hi all, Having ordered a Dragy yesterday I'm wondering where everyone is mounting theirs? I was going to stick the sticky pads inside the arm rest and mount it there but I believe it needs to be as close to the windscreen as possible to guarantee good signal. Thanks!

Go MRC then you can have pops and bangs with a cat in place, then add a res delete for extra noise.
