My last leased R when back in February 2017. It was leased through vwfs. When the car was collected, the guy explained that unless the there was damage to the spokes, or the rim was kerbed more than a 1/3rd of the rim. There would be no charge! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk

Two thing on this topic.. Tesco's had run out of momentum on boxing day, so I put Esso super in instead.... But I was still able to collect my Tesco club card points. I'm seriously considering a Hyundai i30N performance.... I've test driven one in the pooring rain, and it was a lot of fun. I think I will be awesome in the dry. You need to be going warp speed in the golf for it to get exciting imo. It's a good £5k cheaper at least, although the interior is not as nice as the golf. It's not that bad though. Well..... I have to say I was impressed! The noise it makes puts a massive smile on your face. The handling is superb and power is well judged. I'd say it's harder to drive than the GTI, you need a firmer grip on the wheel. The golf is very easy and comfortable, but I'd say i30 is more fun. The interior was a surprise, although not up to golf standards, it wasn't that bad at all. ( Still miles better than a focus). The R, in this weather is so much easier and faster than both GTI and i30... I do think I'd buy one though, I don't do long journeys that the golf would be more comfortable at. But the i30 puts a bigger smile on your face. 5 years warranty and I recon easily £5/£6k cheaper! I'll get my coat.. [emoji23] Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
