I just got out of my lovely stage 2 golf r a month ago and wanted something as fast but bigger. Test drove an rs4 avant and that was the biggest disappointment I have ever been in, I was expecting an m3 type v8 engine response and it was dull as dishwater. Mine only didn't do it when I was using launch control they don't do that anyway even with standard exhaust, ever other time with my bcs downpipe and exhaust it was like Some one fired a gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had it done both ways with valves as standard and then open by vcds, it was too horrendous for me to live with worse with the valves open. Both ways it seemed to me there was loss of power but I am not sure how that can be. I suspect the bcs resonator delete would solve the drone though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I did it originally, sounded ok until on the motorway and I felt my eardrums were going to explode, made me buy a powervalve full exhaust and downpipe, which not only sounded better but no drone at motorway speeds. I have one for sale as I have now sold the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Currently me and my wife have a golf R (soon to go) and a sirocco R, In standard form on the motorway the Rocco is faster just, 0-60 the Golf is faster due to launch and 4 wheel drive. Main reason I went stage 2 was so the wife's car wasn't as fast as mine. Stage 2 is how golf Rs should come from the factory. There is no way I would fit them to my car. I had 10 mm all round Hub centric before I bought new wheels and I could always feel a minor vibration with them, so would hate to think what they would be like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
