Hi Looking at other posts it suggests that as long as the garage is VAT registered, carries out the scheduled maintenance and uses genuine VW parts then you can have a service at an independent garage. However has anyone confirmed this with VWFS or done so and handed the car back without issue? I have contacted VWFS today and when I hear back will post up, but would be good to hear peoples experience. I know it affects the potential resale value of the car so I can understand if it’s written into the lease contract but personally I can’t find the specific wording. Hi I use it on my wife’s car, but only as a post wash detailer as it’s full of wax I don’t think I would ever apply it to a dirty car, the thought of dragging grit across the paintwork makes me shudder! Leased vehicles (pch) go straight to auction at the end of the lease BCA have picked up mine in the past. You can go to the auction as with a bit of detective work you can find the cars My old one went to a dealer up north and I did phone them but the price they wanted was too steep for me I’m not sure if you can buy the car from VWFS I’ve not asked that question Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi, Does anyone know how i can check if my headlight washers are working on my Mk7 R. After multiple pulls of the washer stalk, the windscreen washes but not the headlights. They did work in the past, but the car did have the bumper refitted after some paintwork, so perhaps something could be unplugged. However I was wondering if there was a check before it's back to the dealers? Thanks

Got an update from the police and the car used and people were involved in another couple of incidents in the area involving thefts of cars! Hi, Had an attempted theft last night and scumbags used a blue S3 saloon. As this is a rare colour perhaps someone might recognise it or know if its stolen? Luckily alarm and CCTV scared them off this time! This was in Mid-Hertfordshire Any help appreciated
