I bought some black wheel bolts off eBay for my 1.3's and imo they look better than the plasticy covers.

Forge are now doing a full turbo intake pipe which looks similar to the turbo technics one only £25 cheaper. I've a few on the way.

Revo has set performance modes for the mk7. Not adjustable boost timing a fuel now. That ended at the tfsi engine.

I got a run in a non dcc R with H&R springs before going for bilsteins and tbh it was 100%.

Team Dynamics is a trading name of Rimstock. Rimstock manufacture a lot of wheels for car manufacturers. What is it you you are looking exactly? I might be able to help. If it is Pro Race 1.3's then they are about 3-4 months away as they don't have any castings ATM.

I would go with PMG over detailni, proven product and proven company with correct insurance. You will love CS Pro and EXO.

I'd personally go with NGK but that could just be brand snobbery

06K905601M is the NGK version of 079905626M which is made by Beru.

I had my 2 yr old r done by PMG and they did a fantastic job. Having had 2 mk7's with c-quartzand now the r with gtechniq cs pro there is no comparison. I think the only way to stop the swirls and marks on a mk7 is with cs pro. Who were you thinking of using?

Has anyone noticed that the paint seems to harden over time. My brand new GTD in carbon grey was soft, then my GTI which was 2years old was quite hard and now my red R which is 2.5years old is pretty hard. My detailer said that he has noticed older mk7's are becoming quite hard. He did a brand new red R a week after doing my 2.5year old one and said there was a big difference in the hardness. I wander are VW scrimping on the cure times when they are baking the paint?

Its just my personal opinion that a 18" wheel looks lost in the arch. There is too much tyre for me.

I think 18's are just too small on the mk7. It has huge arch, I went for 19" pro race 1.3's and they are perfect.

I only just painted them when the wheels went on.

Just fitted a set of 19x8.5 Prorace 1.3's

They fitted perfectly.

It's funny how a car would come up from the south, the golfs are very expensive down there compared with up with us.

Resale could be a bit of a nightmare on it. So the only difference in the clocks are that the speedo reads in kmh? The trip is miles and you have miles in the centre digital display?

A good independant would be able to do it for you and give piece of mind.
