I’ve started using paddles more, put into sport then slide across to manual. Better sound but don’t have to rev so high in each gear. Same on motorway but D and manual. Can then speed to to overtake etc without it dropping to 5 or 6 which it does too readily I find. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They installed a software update a few months back and it’s been fine since. Still crashes occasionally but satnav hasn’t been a problem since. Got a third service and mot out of them for the inconvenience too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That used to happen but hasn’t for a while. As the satnav isn’t re-booting but instead working properly that may have stopped it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spoke to vwuk today. Chocolate teapot. Still no fix. Factory know this. Dealer will apply update when it’s released. Then can discuss goodwill offer. Update will need to be applied in the dealership. That’s my understanding. S on DSG = flaps open. You can also tinker with the settings using VAG or OBD 11 (I think they’re called) and have the flaps open all the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve had mine in the dealer due to sat nav intermittently deciding it’s not going to work. Needs an update. No update available. Not sure when one will be available. Live with it until then. Logged a complaint with vw, pretty hopeless. Never had an issue with music in the SD card though. But I do find navigation a chore but that’s probably something I could sort if I could be bothered to fiddle with the file structure or something. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
