    Need help if possible as tried everything. Just taken delivery of the 8.5R Golf and having trouble with the stereo. I connect to Spotify via CarPlay and volume is at half level….15 minutes into journey stereo seems to be quieter, I go to crank the volume and even on Max it’s not as loud as when I started the journey and the stereo has at half level. it is driving me insane my 8R never did this.

    Thanks for all your help guys, my car has today been confirmed as having a major paint defect and VW are ordering me a replacement . I’m not a paint expert and this means nothing to me but apparently the paint depth isn’t sufficient and it’s showing early signs of top coat failure. Although the last month has been a total nightmare I can’t fault the way VW have handled this...granted they messed up the second respray but without me ever asking they suggested we cut our loses and they would order another one. I get to keep my old one in the meantime and the new one should be ready in 6 weeks ( apparently it’s being marked as a priority order...time will tell ) Happy ending at last!! Thanks again everyone

    Things have now gone from bad to worse!! The door needs to be resprayed again...only done 800 miles. Can’t believe VW have done such a shocking job

    Just collected my car after the respray and as it was dark couldn’t check it!! Going back tomorrow but but does anyone know what this is...i’m hoping it’s a sticker or something. The other side has it as well but it blends in...this looks like a scratch and looks awful. Am I being picky, can’t believe VW didn’t notice this!!

    Hi, Don’t know about point 1 but point 2 could be down to autohold. Do you have this on?? If so turn off and see if that makes things better. I love autohold but some people hate it.

    Sure have, will load them tomorrow. VW have been really good about it but after only 500 miles you don’t expect to have the whole drives side resprayed.

    I have a paint defect on the door also, only had it two weeks and already the whole drivers side needs to be resprayed.
